This unit is crafted from 12gage cold rolled steel that is tig welded for strength. It is finished in a durable black powder coat that resists scratches. For security, we use a steel hinge with a stainless steel pin that is pressed in at 2 tons of pressure, making it impossible to drive out. We use two heavy duty cam locks with beefed up cams to increase security. There are two doors that match the 60/40 rear seat. Each door is equipped with a gas spring that holds each door open. This unit is made to be a direct replacement to provide an OEM look, fit and finish.
