Their outstanding performance on a wide variety of materials will keep them locked in your favorite grinder. Wood, plastic, drywall, rubber, fiberglass, and soft stone, they will be your go-to workhorse for any task. NOTE: Should only be used on non-metallic materials. The Shaping Wheels are available in two coating styles and profiles to fit your needs: Original Coating - Creates a smooth cutting action and is easy to control; works exceptionally well on harder woods. Extreme Coating - When heavy material removal is desired. Exceptionally resistant to loading; great for working with wet or gummy woods. Shaping Disc - The Disc is semi-flat and allows you to effortless level high spots, or adjust uneven surfaces with just a few quick passes. Dish Wheel - The rounded profile of the Dish Wheel is built to contour and shape, allowing you to add whole new dimensions to your project. Mounting Instructions: The Discs and Dish Wheels feature a 7/8" I.D. and are intended to mount on a standard electric angle grinder with a 5/8" shaft. They mount on the 7/8" shoulder found on the shouldered bushing or adapter included with most angle grinders. The shouldered bushing is put on the grinder first, followed by the wheel and then the nut. Compatible with most angle grinders including: Bosch, Dewalt, Milwaukee Makita, Black & Decker, Ryobi, Hitachi & more. Recommended operating speed range: 5,000 - 15,000 RPM. Cleaning: They can be easily cleaned using a torch and/or a quick few passes with a soft wire brush, the heat will not harm the teeth!
