The AMP Research Bedstep2 mounts just behind the cab, forward of the rear wheel, providing a faster, easier and safer route to access toolboxes, equipment and cargo in the bed. Easily installed, this frame-mounted, retractable truck step can be mounted on either side of the truck box, and it flips down or retracts with just the nudge of your foot. Proudly made in the USA with global materials.
I installed the AMP Research BedStep2 on my 2013 Ram, and while it's functional, I noticed some paint chipping after just a month. I expected better quality for the price. It works fine, but I’m a bit disappointed with the finish.

Great addition for taller trucks!
The BedStep2 fits my 2010 Dodge Ram perfectly! It’s really helped my wife get into the bed without struggling. The step is super sturdy and holds up well. Installation was easy, took about 30 minutes. Great buy for the price!

Good but could use better instructions
I recently installed this BedStep2 on my 2018 Ram 1500. It's solid and performs well, but the instructions were kinda confusing. Once I figured it out, I was happy with the fit and finish. Overall, it’s a nice upgrade for my truck!

Solid step for my truck
I've been using this BedStep2 on my 2011 Dodge Ram 2500 for a few weeks now. It's super convenient and the black finish looks sleek. Just wish it was a bit wider for easier access. Still, I’d recommend it for anyone needing a little help getting in and out of the bed.
