I recently used the ARP 100-9942 billet rod bolt stretch gauge for my engine rebuild. The precision is impressive, and the gauge feels robust in hand. It made my torque specs much easier to achieve accurately. Definitely a great tool for anyone serious about their engine work!

Decent gauge but took a while to arrive
The ARP stretch gauge does its job well for measuring bolt stretch on my rods, but I’ll admit, it took longer than expected to arrive. The packaging was okay, but it would’ve been nice to get it a bit quicker. Still, I’m happy with the tool itself!

Disappointed in the accuracy
I had high hopes for the ARP 100-9942 gauge, but unfortunately, I found it didn’t give consistent readings after only a few uses. It’s a nice design, but accuracy is key in my line of work, and this one misses the mark. I might have just gotten a dud, but I'm frustrated!
