Our gas strut comes with an extended length of 29.5'' and a compressed length of 17.95''. These gas props are perfect for Snuglid SL and F2 models, as well as other similar brands. This hood lift support can handle 80 lbs of pressure per strut. Ensure a perfect fit by measuring from the center of the ball mounts rather than end-to-end. Our automotive replacement shock lift supports are made from high-quality materials. These gas struts are built for regular use while maintaining performance. They are compatible with a variety of applications, including tonneau covers, extra short and short bed (5.5-6.5' long) truck covers, and heavy hatch doors. Installation of these hood struts lift support is easy in the extended/open position. They provide superior support for heavy fiberglass tonneaus. However, due to variations in tonneau cover models, double-check the size and pressure requirements before making a purchase.
