The Hookit hook-and-loop feature of these pads makes abrasive attachment, removal, and re-attachment clean and easy, and facilitates use and re-use for the full extent of its abrasive life. Hookit attachment features J-shaped hooks of the type most commonly used in everyday hook-and-loop applications. Hookit grips the brushed nylon loop backings of hook-and-loop disc pads, hand boards, air file shoes and more. It’s simple: just slap it on and start sanding. The abrasive removes just as cleanly and easily. The Hookit system is designed for work spaces and applications where adhesive attachment backing may become contaminated by dust, dirt, or flying debris. The backup pad enables users to attach the wool pad without having to remove the 3M Adaptor 05710, meaning even faster transitions in multi-step processes (all accessories sold separately). The double-sided compounding pad is designed for quick and easy pad changes by using the reliable 3M Quick Connect Adaptor 05752. It perfectly centers your pad onto the tool every time, so your attachment lives up to the quality of the pad.
