Plastex Plastic Repair Kit (XL White Kit) is designed to glue broken plastic, fill gaps, form new parts, and repair stripped threads. This XL version provides additional material, making it ideal for larger repairs or multiple projects while maintaining the same strong molecular bonding performance. Plastex works on rigid plastics and materials including ABS, polycarbonate, acrylic, fiberglass, SMC, Bakelite, composites, carbon fiber, and wood. It is not suitable for softer plastics such as polyethylene or polypropylene. The included reusable molding bar allows you to replicate parts and recreate missing tabs. Heat the molding material to approximately 120F, press it onto an undamaged section, and allow it to harden for 20-30 minutes. Once hardened, apply Plastex powder and activator into the mold to form replacement parts. After curing, remove the mold and inspect the repair. The repaired area can be sanded and painted if needed. For best results, apply Plastex to the inside or backside of the repair-there is no need to apply it on both sides. Plastex is ideal for repairing rigid plastics used in motorcycles, cars, trucks, aircraft, watercraft, RVs, pools, hot tubs, toys, hobbies, and household or office items. Proudly made in the USA.
I'm impressed with how well this kit worked on my broken fiberglass garden decor. It dried clear and strong. I'm planning to use it on another wooden project next!

Decent but Messy Application
The Plastex kit definitely helps with repairs, but I found the glue a bit messy to work with. It holds well after curing, just wish the instructions were clearer for beginners. Not a bad choice overall!

Not as Strong as Expected
I was excited to try the Plastex repair kit on a plastic toy. It bonded well at first, but it cracked again after a few weeks. Maybe it’s better for other materials like wood or fiberglass?
