Built for tight spaces and classic builds, these center-dump block hugger headers are the go-to exhaust solution for Gen 1 Small Block Chevy V8 engines (265-400 ci). Made from durable polished 304 stainless steel, they feature a center exit below the center exhaust ports, ideal for hot rods, early trucks, and custom street cars where space is limited. These headers are specifically designed for vehicles using front engine mounts or custom mounts that leave the middle of the block clear. They are a perfect match for: - 1923-1949 street rods - 1955-1957 Chevrolet full-size cars (Bel Air, 210, Nomad) - Early Chevy trucks with front or custom mounts - Custom kit cars or frame builds with SBC swaps Important Fitment Notes: These headers will not work with: - Side engine mounts found on most 1958+ GM vehicles - Clamshell-style mounts used from 1973 onward - Angle plug cylinder heads (common in performance builds) - Vehicles where the frame, crossmember, or steering box sits directly under the center exhaust ports We recommend test-fitting before final installation.
