Our amazingly easy to install heat protection barrier kit reduces heat soak on both the fuel rail and injectors. This heat protection in turn aids in reducing vapor lock and helps in keeping fuel cool. The manifold cover is made from a dual sided aluminum barrier with a high temp insulation sandwiched between Prevent engine and fuel breakdown with our professional heat shield installation kit. ?? WHY & WHERE TO USE: Our new Fuel Rail & Injector Cover Kit is equipment built to fit Jeep Wrangler or Cherokee models 1997-2004 that have a 4.0 Liter inline 6 motor. Our kit helps this engine by reducing fuel rail & injector fuel temps which in turn reduces the chances of vapor lock. Our design protects both the injectors & fuel rail from radiant engine heat.
