V-Band Flange Assemblies are a popular and effective alternative to traditional flanged or slip fit tube connections.They work very well in operating conditions involving stress, vibration and extreme temperature fluctuations. The V-band flanges are machined to allow them to slide about 1/8'' onto the pipe before welding which keeps them centered and ensures a smooth transition for exhaust flow. The clamp works well for my V band setup, but I was disappointed to find a small dent in the stainless steel when it arrived. It doesn’t affect functionality, but I expected better packaging. Still, it does the job nicely!

Perfect fit for my turbo install

Not impressed, stopped working
I was excited to use this clamp on my exhaust setup, but it didn’t hold well after just a few uses. I followed the installation instructions, but it started leaking. Really frustrating since I expected more from a stainless steel product. Definitely not what I hoped for.

Solid construction, easy to install

Sturdy, but had to adjust it a lot
While the Evil Energy V band clamp is sturdy and does its job, I found it tricky to get the right tightness. It took some adjusting before I was satisfied with the fit. Not a dealbreaker, but it was a bit more work than I anticipated. Just keep that in mind!
