The original factory fuel door fasteners were inexpensive, black oxide, production line quality, Torx head screws with built-in washers. Ours are stainless steel Phillips head screws and Allen wrench head bolts with separate stainless steel washers If you cringe every time that you flip open your fuel door, it is probably time that you spent a few bucks on an update. This kit comes with a set of four oval top Phillips head screws to attach the hinge assembly to the car. Then there are six socket button head machine screws (mini bolts) to hold the door to the hinge. And finally there is a pair of acorn cap screws to secure the emblem to the door It is best to take the entire fuel door off apart and wash everything. Then put it all back together with these new stainless fasteners and you will smile each time that you fill up the tank.
