I was disappointed with this Detroit Axle control arms kit. When it arrived, one of the lower control arms had a dent. I tried to install it anyway, but it didn’t fit right and caused more problems. I had to return it and look for a different kit. Not what I expected!

Decent but Installation Was Challenging
The control arms kit worked out fine for my 2004 GMC Savana 2500, but I struggled a little with the installation process. Some of the parts were a bit tricky to fit. Once it was all set up, though, the performance was definitely improved. Just make sure you have the right tools handy!

Solid Control Arm Kit for My Van
I installed this Detroit Axle 13pc front end control arms kit on my 2005 Chevy Express 2500 and it was a perfect fit. The quality seems solid, and my steering feels much tighter now. I appreciate that it comes with everything needed for the installation, though some extra instructions would have helped a bit!
