Replaced the upper control arm on my R250 Suburban with this assembly, and wow, the difference is noticeable. The ride is smoother, and the ball joint feels solid. Very happy with this purchase!

Solid replacement part for my truck
I installed the Detroit Axle upper control arm on my 1985 Chevy C20, and it fits perfectly. The ball joint assembly feels sturdy, and I've noticed better handling since the swap. Shipping was fast too, which is a plus!

Not what I expected!
I received the Detroit Axle control arm assembly, and it had a rust spot on it. Not impressed with that, especially for the price. I'm hoping it holds up, but I might have to look for a different brand next time.

Decent quality but installation was tricky
The control arm is well made, but the installation instructions could be clearer. I spent more time than I'd like figuring things out on my GMC G30. Once it was in, though, it worked great!
