The Treatlife switch includes clear instructions which is fairly easy to follow based on it. You can just replace one of the two 3-way dimmer switches and leave your other existing 3-way switch in place. No requirement of hub and it works well with 2. 4G WIFI only and not 5G. Please install Treatlife switch on the line side (the source of power) and the 3-way switch on the other end needs to be a standard/dumb 3-way. The smart dimmer switch is only for dimmable bulbs. It comprises two main switches that could be used independently. To replace a current 3-way setup hallway and use the other one in a bedroom, you can install one. It controls the dimming of 1 light from 1 or 2 places and can be used as a 3 way or single-pole switch. To control easily and to dim all the lights with voice commands, Alexa and Google Home voice assistants are there. To adjust brightness without clicking noise, you can slide a finger up or down. With the help of smart light switch, we can memorize the last brightness setting to help you get the most comfortable light after powering on. It has a good compatibility with SmartThings but not Apple Homekit. When you are on vacation, the app remote and scheduling works great. Via app, it controls the lights in home on your smartphone for security purposes and convenience. Based on your daily routine, it create schedules to automatically turn lights on or off at preset brightness. This switch is FCC certified. For safety purposes, it has flame-retardant material and built-in overheat protection. It has a warranty of 1-year.
