How To Use This Transmission Fluid Fill Adapter: 1. Drive The Vehicle Until The Transmission Is At Operating Temperature, And Make Sure It Is Level. 2. Remove The Oil Level Check Plug From The Bottom Center Of The Transmission Pan While The Transmission In Park And The Engine Idling, 3. There Are Two Plugs, One Within The Other. The Oil Check Plug Is The Center One With The 3/16'' Allen. When Full, Fluid Should Just Trickle Out Of This Hole. 4. Remove The Inner Fill Plug From The Transmission. Use A Wrench To Hold The Outer Nut To Prevent Draining All The Fluid. 5. Install The Transmission Fluid Fill Adapter. 6. Fill Transmission To The Correct Fluid Level. Add Fluid In Small Increments And Continually Check Until Fluid Is Slowly Dripping. 7. Remove The Transmission Fluid Fill Adapter. 8. Some Leaking Will Occur, Which Is Normal And You Should Let This Happen So That The Proper Level Is Attained. 9. Re-Install The Inner Fill Plug In Transmission.
