3M Heavy Drip-Chek Sealer 08531 is a heavy-based sealer specifically designed for filling exterior auto body definition seams including roof drip rails on older vehicles. Weather-resistant sealer is non-sagging - ideal for vertical seams - and adheres to metal, rubber, glass and painted surfaces. It can be applied up to 1/8 wide. Controlled shrinkage provides excellent visual definition seams. Dry Time: 15 Minutes Work Time: 10 Minutes
The sealer itself seems great, but I received my tube with a small dent in it. I hope it doesn't affect the quality of the sealant. I haven’t used it yet since I’m still assessing it. Just wish the packaging was better.

Wow, this 3M sealer really adheres well! I used it on some cracks in my garage and it has held up wonderfully. The heavy base is no joke. Just be careful when applying, it can get a bit messy, but the results are worth it!

Not what I expected
I was hoping for a perfect seal with the Heavy Drip Chek, but it didn’t work as well as I thought. The application was straightforward, but after a week, I noticed some leaks still. Maybe I didn’t apply it correctly, but I’m a bit disappointed.

Decent but had some issues
I thought this 3M sealer would be a miracle, but it took longer to set than expected. It’s pretty thick, which is great for preventing leaks, but it was a bit tricky to apply. Not bad overall, just some quirks I didn’t anticipate.

Great for sealing roofs!
I used the 3M Heavy Drip Chek sealer on my roof and it’s done a fantastic job! The non-sagging formula really holds up, even in hot weather. Nice and black, it blends in perfectly with my shingles too. Definitely will buy again when I run out!
