3M Single Step Primer 08682 is designed specifically to promote the adhesion of urethane adhesive/sealants to windshields and other automotive glass applications. This one-part primer is ideal for touching up minor pinchweld scratches and can be used to prime encapsulated glass. It is also suitable as a blackout primer to help protect against UV rays. Apply with 3M Urethane Primer Daubers PN 08688. Dry Time: 10 Minutes.
I had high hopes for this 3M primer, but it didn't hold up as expected. The coverage was patchy, and it even started peeling after a week. I wouldn't buy this again, especially for a black color that I thought would be more durable.

Great Primer for Quick Jobs
I used this 3M single step primer for a quick touch-up on my car and it did the job nicely. The black color matched perfectly, and it was easy to apply. Just wish it came in a larger size, but for 30ml, it worked well for my needs!

Decent but could be better
The primer works well for small projects, and the UV resistance is a plus. However, I found the instructions a bit vague, and it took me a few tries to get it right. Still, it did adhere well to the surface and looks good overall.
