Product DescriptionAISIN Ride Height Sensors are engineered to exact OE specifications to ensure proper function of vehicle air suspensions and HID headlight leveling systems. Ride height sensors are a critical component used in an air suspension system to signal a control unit when the vehicle is riding low or high. In response to this signal, compressed air is either sent to or vented from the air springs. Some vehicles, most often those with HID headlights, have an automatic headlight leveling system. This system automatically keeps the headlights adjusted for optimal road illumination and to prevent glare that could blind the drivers of oncoming vehicles. Sensors detect changes in vehicle attitude caused by passenger or cargo weight and vehicle acceleration or braking. These signals are sent to an electronic control unit that in turn commands electric motors to adjust the headlight angle. With superior OE technology and know-how, AISIN ensures that every ride height sensor provides perfect OE form, fit, and function and installs easily. I installed this Aisin ride height sensor on my Toyota Prius, and it works perfectly. The OEM fit was spot on, and my car handles much better now. Installation was easy and straightforward, just like the original part.

Decent sensor but took a while to arrive
The ride height sensor itself seems fine, but I had to wait longer than expected for it to be delivered. It works well with my Prius, and I did notice an improvement in the ride, but just be prepared for possible shipping delays.

Stopped working after a few weeks
I was really hopeful about this Aisin sensor for my Prius, but it stopped functioning properly after only a few weeks. I followed the installation instructions carefully, so I'm not sure what went wrong. Disappointed with the durability.
