Weve all had those mental blocks after a crash. Trying to get yourself to get up and over it, and charge hard again can be a challenge, but we find tossing on a bit of body armor helps. That doesnt mean youve got to be weighed down by beefy hard shells, but slipping on Alpinestars Paragon Plus Knee Protectors may just be the trick. These lightweight pads are breathable and ergonomically designed, so you can still hammer your way up climbs, but feature CE certified perforated pads that offer you a boost in confidence -- and impact absorption, so you can charge hard again, and skip the second-guessing. The pads are constructed with a blend of stretch mesh and Ripstop nylon, allowing them to flex around your muscles comfortably, but hold up to abrasion in the event of a crash. The pads themselves are pre-shaped, so they are optimized for a variety of riding positions.
I bought the Alpinestars Paragon Plus knee protectors in black for my mountain biking sessions, and they really do the job. Comfortable fit for medium size, and I love how they stay in place without sliding down. You can feel the quality in the build material, which gives me confidence when tackling rough trails.

Decent but a Bit Bulky
These knee protectors from Alpinestars are pretty good overall, but I found them slightly bulkier than I expected for medium size. They do provide excellent protection, just wish they were a bit more streamlined for better mobility on the bike. Still, I’ll keep using them!

Arrived Damaged, Disappointing Purchase
I was excited to get the Alpinestars knee protectors, but they came with a tear in the fabric. It’s very frustrating since I needed them for my weekend ride. I reached out for a replacement, so hopefully, that will go smoothly. Otherwise, I can't comment on their performance yet.
