I was really excited to receive my Bell Custom 500 helmet, but it came with a scratch on the gloss black finish. It was packed well, so I think it happened before shipping. I reached out for a return, so hopefully that'll go smoothly. Until then, I'm bummed.

I got this Bell Custom 500 for casual rides around town, and it’s been good so far. It’s lightweight and has a cool gloss finish, but I wish it had a sun visor. Still, it’s comfortable enough for short trips and stylish!

Not Ideal for Long Distance
I bought this helmet for long road trips, but it just isn’t quite right for that. It’s comfortable, but the open face design lets in a bit too much wind for my liking. Great for short rides, though. Just keep that in mind!

Great Helmet, but Sizing Confusion
The helmet looks fantastic and feels solid on my head. However, I found the sizing a bit tricky. I usually wear a large, but ordered the X-Large based on the chart, and it fits snugly. Just be careful with sizes. Otherwise, it's a great product!
