Install with a Chain Break 1. After inserting the roller chain into the lower chain bracket, fully extend the chain pin to the other side by pushing the driving pin of the chain breaker. Don't push it out completely. 2. Gently bend the 420 chain and try to separate it to determine if the pin is forced out sufficiently. 3. Retract the driving pin of the chain breaker to create space to position the chain in the lower support with the chain pin pointing toward the driving pin. 4. Line up the two chain links on the lower support of the chain breaker so that the chain pin is pointing in the direction of the driving pin. 5. Finally, carefully insert the chain pin while gently guiding the chain to maintain its straightness. Take care not to misalign the chain pin in the plate hole.
