Apply a gentle spray to the sprocket teeth contact area, allowing the chain to complete one full revolution. Lightly spray the outer panels during another revolution, then cover the inner side panels on a subsequent revolution. Avoid excessive lubricant, as it can attract dirt and become abrasive, causing premature wear and undermining the lubrication's effectiveness. Chain Installation ? Attach the new chain to the end of the old one with a new connecting link. Turning the rear wheel will bring the new chain into position. ? When replacing a fresh chain, connect both ends with a new connecting link. We recommend lubricating the new connecting link. ? For clip-type connecting links (FJ, RJ), place the open end opposite the chain driving direction. ? Adjust the chain according to the motorcycle maker's instructions.
