The Cooper Evolution Winter 255/50R20XL 109T tire is here to conquer the seasons heaviest snowfalls. This tire provides a product for drivers dealing with untreated roads or deep snow. The directional tread pattern provides superior acceleration and braking, and the Cooper Evolution Winter is adjustable allowing for extreme performance on ice. The Evolution Winter tire is severe weather rated which is the 3 peak mountain snowflake (3PMS) certified. This means the Evolution Winter meets the required performance criteria in snow testing to be considered severe snow service-rated. The wide contact of the tread sawtooth circumferential center rib enhances stability in all weather conditions. The snow groove technology traps snow in the tread, enhancing grip through snow on snow traction. The multi-angled corrugated siping provides lots of biting edges in every direction to provide grip and traction on straightaways, or when turning. The Evolution Winter provides stability and confidence when driving through deep snow.
I had high hopes for these winter tires, but they didn’t perform as well as I thought. The traction isn't great in deep snow. I feel like I have to drive really cautiously. They might work better for light winter conditions, but I wouldn't trust them in a snowstorm.

Decent tires, but shipping took ages
The Cooper Evolution winter tires themselves are solid, handling snowy roads quite well. However, they took longer to arrive than expected. Once I got them mounted, the performance was good, but I was a bit annoyed at the delivery delay.
