Counteract Balancing Beads is the only tire and complete wheel assembly balancing product on the market proven to improve fuel economy in two separate SAE-J1321, TMC RP-1102 Type II tests. Counteract Balancing Beads are manufactured as a tempered glass bead that is placed inside a tire, or injected through the valve stem, allowing for a complete tire & wheel assembly balance without the use of external wheel weights. Counteract extends tire life, improves fuel economy, balances the complete wheel assembly, decreases vibration and driver fatigue, last for the life of the tire, and is environmentally friendly. The Kits include everything you need to install the product at home via the Valve Stem. If you are having new tires mounted, every bag of Counteract 4oz & up is a Drop In Bag system. Simply open your Counteract Balancing Beads bag, and place the inner clear bag containing Counteract inside the tire cavity as it is being mounted. Once the tire is sealed and mounted to the vehicle, the bag will break on its own when the vehicle starts to move.
I was really looking forward to using the Counteract balancing beads, but I found it pretty tricky to get them into my tires without making a mess. Once installed, they do seem to help with balance, but that initial setup was a hassle.

These balancing beads work well for my off-road tires on my truck. They've reduced the shaking significantly. My only issue was the shipping took longer than expected, which was frustrating. Otherwise, happy with the performance.

I tried the Counteract 12oz B12 beads on my SUV and while they did help a bit with vibrations, the installation instructions were a bit unclear. I had to watch a video to figure it out properly. Not terrible, but could be better.
