customTAYLOR33 Engineering Grade Reflective Copyrighted 8mm Width Rim Tapes. Simple and inexpensive do-it-yourself modification, with amazing results. The highest grade reflective, very rare. They reflect light back at the light source that shines on them (like incoming headlights), giving the glowing effect. ALL reflective materials will tend to look more intense in pictures. Camera flashes can be more intense in a split second than other lights. LEGAL in most places since they are made for SAFETY and are NOT lights!! These are NOT ''glow in the dark.'' RIM SIZE FOR BICYCLES Please be aware that the numbers on your bicycle tire is the tire size, not rim size, so you must follow these instructions to find your actual rim size: Measure the diameter of your rims, NOT tires, from edge to edge. Your measurement will always be UP TO 1'' more than your actual rim size. For example, your measurement of a 22.1'' to 23'' diameter, means you have 22'' rims. Therefore you should be ordering a 22'' size rim tape. Also, rim tapes can only be applied to rims with disc brakes since you CANNOT have the pad brakes rub on the rim tapes. RIM SIZE FOR MOTOR VEHICLES (i.e. cars, motorcycles, etc.) The last two digits in the numbers imprinted on your tires is your rim size. For example, ''180/55ZR17'', means you have 17'' rims.
The rim tapes look good once applied, but I did have some trouble getting the adhesive to stick at first. After a few tries, it worked out. Just be patient during installation. They reflect nicely, though!

Awesome safety addition for bikes
I put these on my cycling rims and couldn't be happier! The black color still looks sharp, but the reflective feature is really what sold me. Makes me feel much safer when riding at dusk. Definitely recommend for any cyclist!

Not worth the hassle
Honestly, I was disappointed. The rim tapes didn't come off the backing easily and I ended up tearing one. Plus, they didn’t quite fit my rims as expected even after following the guidelines. They might work for others, but I wouldn’t buy again.

I bought these black reflective rim tapes for my bike and they are awesome! The engineering-grade material really makes a difference in visibility at night. Just make sure you select the correct rim size, but once they’re on, they look sleek and do their job well.

Perfect for my car but tricky install
