Stop rust in its tracks with Our Rust Remover. This paint-over-rust formula is the easiest way to stop rust and corrosion from forming and prevent existing rust from spreading. It seals metal parts and penetrates beneath the surface to encase rust while leaving behind a paintable surface. Rust Encapsulator can be used as a primer for a variety of topcoats or left as-is if you prefer a low-gloss finish. Ideal for chassis and undercarriage rust prevention. With high heat resistance, you can even apply it to the engine bay.
This rust remover does the job but can get a bit messy during application. I found that the black color made it hard to see on some surfaces, and the clean-up was more than I expected. It works as advertised, but I suggest using gloves and old clothes when applying it.

Effective Rust Remover for My Tools

Disappointed with the Results
I had high hopes for the Eastwood rust remover, but it didn’t seem to work as quickly as I’d hoped. After a few applications, I noticed minimal improvement on my car's undercarriage. Maybe it’s just not strong enough for heavy corrosion? I’m not sure, but I wish it had worked better for me.
