ESCO 20462C Truck Tire Balancing Beads is a complete case of 24 individual bags of 8 oz. tire balancing beads. To determine what size beads you should put in your tires, simply find your tire size on the application chart. Only 1 bag of beads is needed per tire. Installation is simple, place the inner bag of beads inside the tire and your done. ESCOs Tire Balancing Beads are reusable. ESCOs Tire Balancing Beads consist of thousands of uniquely designed beads that will automatically adjust to the imbalance of the tire based on the principle of centrifugal force. The beads naturally find the unbalanced side of the tire and gathers together to create a counter-weight that balances the tire regardless of changes in the tire weight due to normal conditions. When standard lead or steel wheel weights are applied to the rim, theyre placed in a fixed position that is opposite of the imbalanced side of the tire. But as your tires wear, those wheel weights are still in the same position. With ESCOs Tire Balancing Beads, this process is done internally just the same as standard wheel weights. The big difference is ESCOs Tire Balancing Beads balance the tire for the life of the tire and adapt as the outside rubber of the tire wears down with time. So as your tire wears, the beads automatically shift to the exact position needed for a perfect balance.
The ESCO balancing beads do the job, but I was disappointed with the packaging. Some bags were a bit torn when they arrived, which made the use of a few bags a little messy. Still, the beads balance my truck tires well enough.

Not worth the hassle
