Applying FatMat Sound Deadener to quiet vibrations in your car can result in as much a 3 dB gain in sound. Pressure sensitive adhesive backing with heat-resistant aluminum surface.
After applying this sound deadener, I noticed a big reduction in sound from my exhaust and road noise. The installation kit is handy, but I wish the instructions were a bit clearer. Still, it did the job well!

Solid product for the price!
Installed this sound deadener in my truck, and it really made the ride smoother. The bulk pack gave me plenty to work with, and the 50 mil thickness is impressive. The only downside was that it took a little longer to install than I thought.

Great sound deadening material!
I used the FatMat sound deadener in my car and it made a huge difference. The 50 mil thickness really helps with road noise. The self-adhesive backing was easy to work with, and I love that it comes in a bulk pack of 200 sq ft. Definitely a solid investment!

Not worth the trouble
I was pretty disappointed with this product. I found it hard to cut and apply, and the adhesive didn't hold up well in my trunk. After a week, I could still hear a lot of noise. I wouldn't buy this again.

Decent but not perfect
The FatMat sound deadener works okay for noise reduction, but I did have some trouble with the adhesive sticking in colder weather. The bulk pack is great for bigger projects, but I expected a little more effectiveness. It’s better than nothing!
