As someone new to leather finishing, I found using this product somewhat tricky. The instructions weren't super clear, and I had to test it on scraps before applying it to my main project. The finish itself is good, but I wish the setup was simpler.

Works well, but smell is strong
This Fiebing's leather finish does a great job protecting my work, but wow, the smell is pretty intense. I had to work outside because it made my workshop feel like a chemical factory! Once you get past that, it really does seal the leather nicely.

Disappointed with packaging
I received my Fiebing's Resolene today, but the gallon container was dented and leaking a bit. The product itself seems fine, but I was really expecting it to arrive in better condition. Just be careful if you order this.
