Decent strut, installation instructions could improve
The Gabriel rear strut works fine but the installation instructions included were a bit vague. After some trial and error, I got it on my Jeep Compass, and it’s doing its job. Just be prepared for some extra research if you’re not a pro at this stuff.

Not great, wish I had a better option
Unfortunately, this Gabriel strut didn’t last long for me after installation. It started to make noise within a few months. I was really hoping for better durability, especially for the price. Kind of disappointed.

Great for Jeep Patriot owners
I swapped out my old strut with this Gabriel one on my 2008 Patriot and I can feel a noticeable difference. The handling feels much tighter now. Just make sure to have the right tools on hand for installation; it can be a bit tricky otherwise!
