The Gabriel G51928 strut works well for my 2005 Touareg, but I found the installation instructions somewhat unclear. After a bit of trial and error, I got it done, and now the ride quality is much improved. Just wish the setup was smoother!

Strut Stopped Working After a Month
I was happy with the Gabriel Ultra strut at first, but it started making noise after about a month of use. I’m a bit disappointed since I expected better durability. Hopefully, I can get a replacement or something. Not sure if I would recommend it yet.
