This tensioner is heavy-duty and seems well-made, but the installation was a bit tricky for me. The instructions could have been clearer. Once I got it on, though, it’s performed well, maintaining the belt tension nicely. Just wish the setup was easier!

Arrived damaged, not impressed
Unfortunately, my Gates tensioner showed up with a dent in the casing. It looked like it had seen some rough handling. I ended up returning it because I wasn't confident in its durability. Disappointed, but I might try again if it’s properly packaged next time.

Sturdy tensioner for my truck
I installed the Gates Fleetrunner tensioner on my truck and it works great. The heavy-duty design feels solid, and the grey finish looks nice under the hood. Definitely holds the belt tight, which is a relief for my daily drives!
