Constructed with Gates proprietary construction, this belt has a superior combination of flex and load carrying capacity, as well as less stretch resulting in less maintenance. This provides superior performance on the toughest heavy-duty A, B and C Section industrial drives. Suitable for all industrial applications, particularly where small orsub-minimal sheave diameters are required. Notches molded into the belt during manufacturing make this belt well suited for drives with smaller diameter sheaves.
I ordered the Gates BX85 belt, but it slipped off my mower after just a few uses. The fit was off, and I had to adjust it multiple times. I'm a bit disappointed since I had high hopes based on the brand reputation.

This Gates BX85 belt works fine for my needs, but I found it took a little longer to arrive than expected. Installation was straightforward, but the instructions weren't super clear. It’s holding up well though!
