The ignition coil works well for my 42D777 engine but the instructions left a bit to be desired. It took me a while to figure out the correct wiring. Once I got it sorted, it fired up nicely, so just be prepared for some trial and error!

Solid ignition coil for a great price
This ignition coil for the Briggs & Stratton 42E707 engine is a solid buy. Easy to install and brought my lawn mower back to life in no time. I’m very pleased with the performance, especially for the price I paid. Definitely a good choice!

Great replacement for my old engine

Not a perfect fit for my engine
I tried using this ignition coil for my 42C777 engine, but it didn't fit as snugly as I hoped. It works, but I had to do some adjustments which was a bit frustrating. Might be better for other models but check compatibility first!

Performance is good, but shipping was slow
I replaced my old ignition coil with this one on a horizontal Briggs & Stratton engine. Performance is good, it runs great now. The only downside was the longer shipping time than I expected. Would have rated higher if not for that.
