Greatly simplifies underhood wiring by eliminating any factory ballast resistors, resistance wires, or Duraspark / ECU / computer control boxes. Another bonus is that nearly all parts are readily available and will interchange with the GM HEIs: cap, rotor, coil, pickup, module, vacuum canister, etc. This quality HEI Distributor is the perfect upgrade for non computer controlled engines. This 100% new distributor features premium cap with brass terminals, low saturation ignition module, high output coil which produces 50,000 volt spark through to 7,500 RPM, a 4340 Chromoly steel bottom gear for use with cast and steel billet cams, and true spark alignment for instantaneous response at high RPM.
