I installed this KAX strut assembly on my 2005 Silverado 1500, and it really improved the ride quality. The shock absorber feels robust, and I noticed the bump absorption is way better now. Just a heads up, installation took a bit longer than I expected, but that's on me for not having the right tools handy!

Decent Product, But Had Some Issues
The KAX strut assembly works fine on my 2003 Silverado, but I had a little trouble with the installation instructions. They weren’t super clear, and it took me a few tries to get it right. It rides better now, but I was hoping for a faster setup. Not bad, but could use improvement.

Not What I Expected
I had high hopes for this strut assembly since it looked good online, but mine came with a dent in the part. I was able to use it anyway, but I feel like it affects the performance a bit. I wouldn’t buy again since I wasn’t super satisfied with the quality control.
