However, getting that load moved safely is always the primary concern. The KT3000 is equipped with a 50 feet of 3/16 aircraft-grade galvanized wire rope that winds onto a sturdy drum-centric design. A 1.475 horsepower 12-volt DC motor and 3-stage planetary all-metal gear train provide excellent pulling speed and power. The dual mechanical and dynamic braking system is designed to stop and hold the fully loaded cable, keeping it where you need it until you are ready to move again. The KT3000 also has a built-in circuit breaker, protecting the winch and your equipment if a voltage change or short circuit should occur.
