The Kuryakyn 1740 brake and clutch control dress-up kit is an inexpensive, fast, and easy way to completely finish chroming your hand controls! The clutch perch (cable style) is a complete chrome replacement unit that has been beefed up to complement the brawny look of an H-D. The master cylinder cover dresses up the reservoir and covers the entire visible hand brake bracket assembly with a lush layer of glistening chrome. There are even replacement chrome clamp halves and hardware accents for a 100% detailed, pure custom look. Includes (1)master cylinder cover, (1) clutch perch, (1) chrome clamps, (1) filler panel, (1) lower trim, (1) pivot pin, (1) hardware kit containing: (2) M4 x 0.7 x 25MM button socket head cap screws, (2) M4 x 0.7 x 20MM button socket head cap screws, (4) 10-24 x 5/16 button socket head cap screws, (4) 1/4-20 x 1 socket head cap screws, (2) small clips, (2) large clips, (2) brake line cover assembly, (2) #10 flat washers; suggested tools for installation (not included): set of hex wrenches, snap ring pliers, screwdrivers, and combination wrenches. The Kuryakyn 1740 brake and clutch control dress-up kit is compatible with Harley-Davidson models: 08-13 Electra Glides, Road Glides, Road Kings, Street Glides, and 09-10 Trikes (without reverse).

Good quality, but missing parts
I liked the chrome finish of the Kuryakyn 1740 kit; it does add a nice touch to my 2009 Harley. However, I was disappointed to find that one of the bolts was missing. I was able to find a replacement, but it was a hassle to deal with that. Still, it looks sharp after the installation!

Not what I expected
I was excited to get the Kuryakyn brake and clutch kit, but when I opened the package, some pieces were scratched. Not what I want on my 2011 bike. I contacted support for a replacement, so we'll see how that goes. The product could be great if everything was in perfect condition.

Decent kit, a bit tricky to install
The Kuryakyn brake and clutch kit looks great on my bike, but I had some trouble with the installation instructions. It took a couple of tries to get it right. Once it was on, though, the chrome finish is gorgeous and really stands out on my 2010 model!
