The Kuraykyn 8291 inner primary cover provides a smooth, customized look for your motorcycle. Durable made from quality chrome-plated aluminum. Easy installation in minutes. Includes (1) chrome, inner primary cover and (1) hardware kit; suggested for installation (not included): set of hex wrenches, socket set and ratcher, ft/lbs and in/lbs torque wrench, and a blade screwdriver. The Kuryakyn 8291 inner primary cover is compatible with Harley-Davidson models: 00-06 Softail.
The inner primary cover looks great on my 2004 Harley Davidson, but I had some trouble during installation. The instructions weren’t very clear, and it took me a bit longer than expected. Once on, it looks fantastic, but I wish the install was simpler.

Not what I expected
I bought this for my 2003 Softail thinking it would match the other chrome parts, but it seems a bit duller in person. The fit is fine, but the color didn't meet my expectations. Just be aware if you're matching with other chrome accessories.

I replaced the stock inner primary cover with this Kuryakyn part on my 2000 Softail, and it's transformed the whole bike! Love the chrome detailing which really pops. Took about an hour to install, but worth every minute. Perfect addition for anyone customizing their Harley!
