I recently replaced the starter on my 2003 Yamaha V-Star 1100 with this one, and it works like a charm. Installation was straightforward, and it cranks the engine without any issues. Plus, the build quality seems solid, definitely a good value!

Had issues after a few uses
I was excited to replace my starter with this one for my Yamaha V-Star 1100, but it started acting up after just a month. Sometimes it would just click and not start. Not what I expected from a replacement part. Disappointed with the quality.

Decent starter but slow shipping
The starter itself seems to work fine for my 2001 Yamaha V-Star, but I had to wait longer than expected for it to arrive. Once it got here, it installed easily and started the bike right up, so I’m happy with it overall, just wish the delivery had been faster!
