LS2 assaults the competition with the class-leading Assault Helmet. The Assault shell is constructed from LS2's Kinetic Polymer Alloy (KPA), a lightweight strong composite material, and is paired with a multi-density EPS liner into three shell sizes. The interior comfort liner uses a high-tech fabric that wicks moisture, dries quickly and is fully removable and washable. The comfort pads are pre-curved using LS2s 3D laser technology for all-day comfort and no hot spots. Large, adjustable vents on the chin bar and at the top of the helmet work in conjunction with the rear spoiler and side venturi vents to offer adjustable, dynamic flow-through ventilation. The eye port is wide and houses an optically correct, Pinlock ready shield (lens insert sold separately). DOT approved. Meets the FMVSS 218 Standard
I bought this LS2 helmet a few weeks ago. It fits well and feels sturdy, but I found the sunshield a bit difficult to deploy quickly while riding. Still, for the price, it’s a good helmet overall.

Not what I expected
I was really looking forward to this helmet because of its style, but it arrived with a scratch on the side. Definitely disappointed about that. It seems protective, but I might just return it for a replacement.

Comfortable but slightly heavy
The LS2 Assault helmet is comfortable and fits my big head nicely. However, I did notice it feels a bit heavy after wearing it for a long ride. The matte finish is cool, and the purple accents are a nice touch!
