Just installed the Mahle 54249 head gasket last week, and so far, so good! I’m really impressed that I didn’t encounter any leaks. The fit was snug and the material feels durable. Definitely a worthwhile purchase!

Installation instructions were lacking
The Mahle 54249 gasket itself seems good, but the installation instructions were not very clear. It took me longer than expected to get everything lined up right. Once it was in, though, it worked perfectly.
