When the MICHELIN Commander II tire was released it set the standard in terms of tire life, almost doubling the life that consumers would see from its competitors. In addition to long tire life, Michelin has incorporated MICHELIN Amplified Density Technology (ADT) which increases responsiveness. *Commissioned third party tests conducted in 2011 on public roads comparing MICHELIN Commander II tires, Metzeler ME880, and Dunlop D407/D408 tires in sizes 130/80B17 and 180/65B16. Individual results may vary depending on motorcycle type and operating conditions.
I was excited to try the Michelin Commander II on my bike, but unfortunately, the tire started showing wear after just a few hundred miles. It just didn’t hold up as I hoped. I've used Michelin tires before, so this was a letdown. I’d probably look for something else next time.

The Michelin Commander II is a strong tire that grips well on the highway. However, it took a bit longer to arrive than I expected, which was frustrating. Once installed, it did meet my expectations for my cruiser, so I’m mostly happy with it!

Solid Performance on the Road
I've been using the Michelin Commander II on my cruiser for a few months now and it's been fantastic. The 130/90-16 rear tire offers great grip and stability, even on wet surfaces. Plus, the reinforced design gives me confidence on long rides. Definitely a worthy upgrade!
