Pilot Power 2CT tires add two-compound technology to the already renowned Pilot Power range. While 2CT technology originated in MotoGP racing, Pilot Power 2CT tires are intended for the most demanding sportbike riders, who use their bikes both on the road and for track days. Its tread surface is divided into three separate areas, incorporating two different rubber compounds. This helps provide numerous benefits in terms of dry grip, lean angle, handling and progressive acceleration and braking on wet surfaces.
The Michelin Pilot Power 2CT is a solid choice for track days. The performance is excellent, but I do feel like I paid a bit more than necessary for a 190/55ZR17 tire. It wears down a bit faster than expected too, but the grip is top notch. Just wish it wasn't so expensive!

Not what I expected
I had high hopes for the Michelin Pilot Power 2CT, but my experience hasn't been great. The tire I received seemed to have a slight defect, making it wobble a bit at high speeds. I reached out for support but it took forever to get a response. Disappointing for a tire with such a good reputation.

Best tire for the street!
I switched to the Michelin Pilot Power 2CT for my weekend rides, and wow, what a difference! The durability is impressive for a soft compound tire, and it performs beautifully in both wet and dry conditions. The 190/55ZR17 size fits perfectly on my bike. I’ll be sticking with these in the future!

Great grip and performance!
I recently installed the Michelin Pilot Power 2CT on my bike, and the difference is fantastic! The grip in corners is incredible, especially for a 190/55ZR17 rear tire. I feel much more confident during my rides, and the handling is sharp and responsive. Definitely worth every penny!
