Mityvac is a brand of automotive diagnostic and service repair tools since 1971. Beginning with the design and patent of a single hand-held vacuum pump intended for medical applications, its uses broadened to include automotive diagnostics and service as well as industrial and consumer applications.Mityvac fluid evacuators are ideal for removing fluids from small tanks and reservoirs. These units are lightweight and portable and include integrated reservoirs with capacities ranging from 1.9 qt. (1.8 l) to 2.3 gal. (8.8 l). Applications include evacuating engine oil, coolants, transaxle grease and power steering, transmission and brake fluid from automobiles, motorcycles, small engines, boat motors, RVs, ATVs and machinery.The MV7300 operates on compressed air to create a powerful venturi vacuum for draining fluids from tanks and reservoirs. Compressed air hose attaches at base for stability. Includes accessories for draining engine oil or transmission fluid directly through the dipstick tubes. Also includes brake/clutch bleeding kit (Model MVA7205) for vacuum bleeding hydraulic brake and clutch systems.Mityvac offers the products and systems you need for any brake and clutch bleeding application, air induction cleaning and compression testing, cooling system evacuation or refill application, for fluid handling and diagnostic applications.
This pump works well for evacuating fluids. The design is solid, but I wish the instructions were a bit clearer. It took me a few tries to set it up correctly, but once I did, it performed as expected. Just be patient during the setup!

I love this vacuum pump! The 2.3-gallon size is perfect for my needs. It makes draining oil from my car so much easier, and the chemical resistance is a huge bonus. Just hook it up and it works like a charm!

Not what I expected
Unfortunately, my Mityvac MV7300 arrived with a crack in the plastic. It still works but I feel like I can't trust it for major jobs. Customer service was decent but I expected better quality control. Would be great if it weren’t damaged!
