Motul DOT 5.1 is a 100% synthetic brake fluid with a polyglycol base for all types of hydraulic actuated brake and clutch systems in accordance with DOT 5.1, DOT 4 and DOT 3 manufacturers recommendations. Specially designed for an anti-lock brake system (ABS). Dry boiling point of 516F (272C) to brake fade and overheating.
The Motul brake fluid works as expected; I used it for my motorcycle. However, it took longer to arrive than I anticipated. The packaging was intact and the fluid seems high quality, just wish the shipping was quicker!

Great fluid for high-performance brakes
I've been using the Motul DOT 5.1 brake fluid in my sports car for a few months now and the performance is solid. The fluid has a high boiling point which gives me confidence during hard braking. No issues with moisture absorption either!

Just okay, not what I expected
The brake fluid is fine, but I expected more performance based on what I've read. It does the job, but I feel like there are better options out there for the price. Won't rush to buy it again.

Stopped working after a few weeks
I had high hopes for this Motul brake fluid, but after only a few weeks, I noticed my brakes were not as responsive. I followed all the installation steps correctly, but something seems off. Very disappointed!
