The round drain grate, also known as a drain cover, is ideal for draining light flows of stormwater from small lawns, landscaped areas, patios, and walkways. Grate is made of solid brass and the collar is made of polyvinyl chloride, a type of plastic.The 4 in. Round Drain Grate has an open surface area of 5.3 sq. in. and flow rate of 16 GPM. Connects to 3 in. sewer and drain pipe and 4 in. sewer and drain fittings for a soil-tight fit. The pipe grate is ADA Compliant and heel-proof. The brass drain grate is built to stand up to the elements, and the PVC collar is made with a combination of virgin and recycled content treated with UV inhibitors to prevent fading and cracking from the sun. As part of a complete drainage system, the grate blocks leaves and debris as water enters drain pipes.
