I received the sealer, but the tube was dented and some of the product spilled out. I didn't get to use it properly. Very disappointing experience. I’ve always trusted Permatex, but this was not ideal.

Solid product for exhaust repairs
I used the Permatex muffler tailpipe sealer to fix a leak in my exhaust pipe, and it worked like a charm! The 3 oz size was perfect for doing a quick job. Just make sure to follow the instructions closely for best results.

Mixed feelings about the delivery
The tailpipe sealer itself is good, but it arrived a few days late which was frustrating. The 3 oz size was perfect for my little project, but I wish it had come on time. Just be aware of shipping times!

Great for temporary fixes!
I bought this Permatex sealer as a quick fix for my muffler. It’s been about a month, and it's still working fine. Easy to apply, but make sure the surface is clean. Works better than I thought it would!

Good sealer but took a bit to set
The seam on my tailpipe was stubborn, but this product eventually sealed it well. I noticed it took longer than expected to set though. Just be patient! It’s holding up so far.
