Permatex's Permapoxy Black Plastic Weld is a structural adhesive designed for general purpose bonding of a wide variety of materials. Black Plastic Weld forms a tough, durable bond to most plastics, composites, ceramics, and wood in any combination. It is a fast-curing product with gelling of mixed adhesive in 5 to 6 minutes and fixturing in 9 to 10 minutes. Bonds hard and soft plastics to specified surfaces, and requires no primers. Sets in five minutes at room temperature, with a temperature range of -60 degrees Fahrenheit to 250 degrees Fahrenheit (-51C to 121C). Permanent strength up to 3500 PSI, and gap filling to 0.125 inches. This epoxy is water resistant, with good chemical resistance. Suggested Applications: Bonds rigid materials including ABS, acrylic, fiberglass, FRP, glass, PVC, SMC, steel, styrene, vinyl, and wood. NOTE: Permatex Black Plastic Weld will not bond polyethylene and polypropylene plastics.
These 0.84 fl oz tubes are perfect for detailed work. I really like how easy it is to apply the black adhesive exactly where I need it. Plus, having 12 of them means I don't have to worry about running out anytime soon. Definitely a solid product!

Perfect for crafting and small repairs

Not as strong as I'd hoped
I had high hopes for the Permatex PermaPoxy but was a bit disappointed. While it works for light plastic bonding, my heavy-duty items didn't hold as expected. Might be best for minor fixes rather than tough jobs. Just a fair warning!

I bought this pack of PermaPoxy for some plastic repairs on my car. While it works well for minor fixes, I found it didn't hold up under heavy stress. It’s fine for light-duty work, but I wouldn’t trust it for something crucial. Just keep that in mind!

Mixed feelings about the packaging
The PermaPoxy works well, but I received my pack and noticed a couple of tubes were dented. Not a big deal, but it made me a bit concerned about the integrity of the adhesive. So far, it's been holding up fine, though! Just wish the shipping was better.
