Permatex ultra disc brake caliper lube is a green, non-melting, synthetic lubricant formulated to lubricate under the most adverse brake conditions. Assures that critical caliper pins, sleeves, bushings and pistons remain lubricated throughout pad life. From special-mission, job-specific lubricants, protectants and dressings, to the rigors of heavy-duty needs, count on Permatex to bring you reliability and problem-solving solutions that extend the life of your equipment.
I tried the Permatex caliper lube expecting it to do better, but it didn't help with the noise. Additionally, the tube was smaller than I expected for the price. I had to apply quite a bit to get the results I wanted. Might look for a different brand next time.

Essential for DIY brake jobs
I used the Permatex Ultra Disc Brake Caliper Lube on my car when replacing the brake pads, and it worked like a charm. The 0.5 ounce tube was just enough for both calipers, and the application was easy without making a mess. Definitely made my brakes operate smoothly!

Works well, but packaging could improve
This brake caliper lube does its job well in preventing squeaking and corrosion, but I had some trouble with the tube cap not sealing properly after first use. It’s a bit annoying, but the product itself is great. Just a bit of a hassle to store it afterwards.
